Big Data Summit in Food, Energy, and Water

The purpose of this summit is to identify:

• Impactful research conducted at Illinois in the intersection of Big Data, Food, Energy,
and Water
• Challenges, opportunities, and possible collaborations among Illinois faculty, staff, and
students working in this area
• Opportunities for engagement with industry, non-government organizations, and
government agencies in this area
• Potential roles that a new Institute of Data Analytics might provide to support research, education, or engagement programs that facilitate the use of Big Data skills, tools, and techniques in our work.
