Saturday, April 20

Join the University of Illinois and the College of ACES on Saturday, April 20 for our Admitted Student Illini Fest! During this campus-wide event, you will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities and events including admissions presentations, campus tours, housing and financial aid presentations and then sign up for a specialized program within the College of ACES! This program will allow you to connect more with your direct major and potentially meet with your advisor and other current students!

Discover exciting career prospects open to our alums. Find out the answers to your personal questions and how we can work together to tailor ABE or ETMAS to your interests.

The More You Know Webinar Series

  • ABE Curriculum-Wednesday, February 21, 7:00-7:30 pm CST-Register
    • Admitted students and their guests can join the ABE advisor to learn more about the ABE curriculum. Hear about ABE core courses that you will take each of which includes engaging field trips. Go over the core degree requirements. Explore the six focus areas which allow you to tailor your coursework to your interests: Bioprocess Engineering & Industrial Biotechnology; Off-Highway Vehicle & Equipment Engineering; renewable Energy Systems Engineering; Soil & Water Resources Engineering; Sustainable Ecological & Environmental Systems Engineering; and Synthetic Biological Engineering. Discover minors and certificate programs which can enhance your marketability and let you dive deeper into your interest areas. Hear from current ABE students who have personalized their curriculum to address their interests. Determine what your AP & IB scores and/or dual enrollment classes mean in terms of your degree requirements. Finally, learn about upcoming placement exams and new student registration.

Get ready for a full-day Saturday visit dedicated to all things Animal Sciences! Our students swear by this event as the ultimate way to dive into the world of Animal Sciences. Chat it up with current animal sciences students, advisors, and faculty. Plus, choose your adventure – take a farm tour, check out ANSC student organizations, or gain personalized insights from a current student on a campus tour. This event is a great way to meet your future classmates and teachers. It’s not just a visit; it’s an Animal Sciences experience you won’t want to miss!
