The College of ACES has approximately 2,900 undergraduate and more than 700 graduate students.

Instagram Takeover

Work Wednesday is an opportunity for your organization to access ACES Academic Programs' Instagram account. You will have the ability to highlight your organization. You will upload one Instagram post referring students to the stories you will be posting throughout the day. Suggested topics include: 
• College of ACES alumni working within your organization
• job preparation advice
• tips and tricks on applying/interview prep
• jobs/internships openings
• Organizational news and more!

Classroom Presentations

You may enhance an ACES education by bringing your expertise to the classroom. Some faculty are open to having external guests especially when the topic is in alignment with the course objectives. Please contact ACES Career Services if you would like a classroom speaking opportunity.

Connect at a Career Fair

Each fall, the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences and College of Liberal Arts and Sciences partner with to offer a career fair. On-Campus Interviews

Due to the competitive nature of securing top talent, recruiting for full-time positions and summer internships primarily occurs in the fall. The ACES Career Development office has access to six interview rooms for on-campus recruiting. To request space, reserve dates through Handshake @ Illinois. Select the interview tab on the left sidebar in Handshake and then click on the "request interview schedule" box, and then type, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and select ACES Career Services as the Career Center. If you have any issues with using Handshake @ Illinois, contact Jean Drasgow or 217-333-0981.

Interview Schedules

You may use your own scheduling system to create your interview schedule or you may select to use Handshake's interview schedules. Standard on-campus schedules are from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., with approximately 10 to 12 interviews per schedule. Custom schedules are also allowed if they can be accommodated. Interviews cannot be scheduled before 8:30 a.m.

Logistics for On-Campus Interviews

ACES is accessible for recruiters nationwide, with local access to major airlines serving metropolitan airports in Chicago and Dallas as well as the University of Illinois Williard Airport (CMI) in Champaign. Champaign/Urbana is also an easy drive from airports in Bloomington, IL; Chicago, IL; Indianapolis, IN; and St. Louis, MO.

Parking for On-Campus Interviews

There are 10 hour meters in lot F-28 just off of Dorner Drive. Payment can be made via an app on your phone.
