More than 40 organizations provide our students with the opportunity to network, learn about careers, and contribute to the life of our college. The ACES Council serves as a liaison between student clubs and faculty and facilitates the development and success of our student organizations.
If your club or organization would like to advertise an event or learning opportunity to our students, please read through the College of ACES Office of Academic Programs Mass Email Protocol before you submit a request to advertise.
If you are in an ACES Registered Student Organization and would like to request additional funding for a project, please view the application.

Alpha Epsilon Delta at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign is the oldest and largest pre-health fraternity on campus. Human Interest Professionals Club
The Human Interest Professions Club provides students with opportunities to volunteer in the community, enhance their leadership skills, and develop as professionals through mentorship. The HIP Club's forte is volunteer work and organized events with people in the community. Members volunteer at local soup kitchens and nursing homes, support area charities, and participate in events to raise awareness of children's issues. Students in Illini Algae Club can partner with ABE graduate students to help with projects using algae, learn laboratory techniques, and help advance current research. The Illini Wildlife and Conservation Club is for students interested in wildlife care, conservation, and wildlife and exotic veterinary medicine. Nabor House Fraternity
Nabor House is a small, agricultural fraternity at the University of Illinois. Located on Lincoln Avenue, Nabor House has the shortest walk to the Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences (ACES) campus of any fraternity. Nabor House is also the lowest-cost housing option on campus, with a rent of $650 per month that covers utilities, internet, cable, parking, and 16 meals per week. Members value agriculture, cooperative living, Christian values, and recreation. Nabor House has posted a cumulative GPA above 3.0 for 27 consecutive semesters and hosts weekly Bible studies. All Nabors pitch in with the cleaning of the house and preparing meals to keep costs to a minimum while learning valuable life skills in the process.

Off Road Illini
Off Road Illini is the University of Illinois Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Mini-Baja Team. The team designs, builds, and races a single-seat off-road car in the SAE collegiate competition series. Off Road Illini provides an excellent source of hands-on knowledge of basic engineering principles, with the reward of the creation of a car by the end of the school year.

Sigma Alpha is a national organization that was founded in 1978. Since then, nearly 100 chapters have been founded, and more than 20,000 members have been inducted nationwide. UIUC Child Life Association
The UIUC Child Life Association is an organization for students looking to go into the field of Child Life – working with children and their families in hospital settings. The club prepares students for careers by helping them prepare for practicums, internships, and exams. Additionally, the club provides students with the opportunity to travel to different Children's Hospitals for Child Life conferences to become more educated about the field. The club helps out in the community as well, by hosting a Halloween party in the Pediatrics Unit at Carle Hospital, volunteering at the Ronald McDonald House in Chicago, helping the Child Life Specialist at Carle Hospital promote Pediatrics Month and more. VermiCulture
vermiCUlture is an environmental organization focused on addressing climate change issues related to food waste management. After winning the World YMCA Climate Action Summit in 2020, this group of YMCA UIUC students founded vermiCUlture. Since 2021, they have been providing free vermicomposting kits to students, faculty, staff, and community members in Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy, Illinois to vermicompost at home, and education materials on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
