Participate in a free and unique opportunity from the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) Alumni Association at the University of Illinois. Previously a multi-day experience on campus, ACES Family Academies – where alumni and many others share their experiences with young people – will go virtual for 2020.

An upcoming symposium hosted by the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences (ACES) will further the University of Illinois’ interdisciplinary work towards food security.

Champaign, Ill. – The brightest minds in agtech will convene Wednesday, March 4 for the fifth annual AgTech Innovation Summit hosted by the University of Illinois Research Park and presented by Bayer and The Climate Corporation.

URBANA, Ill. – This year’s 2019 Celebrate Food and Agriculture festivities brought a new audience to the University of Illinois Stock Pavilion. The primary use of the Stock Pavilion is instructional but since its construction in 1912, it’s been one of the most versatile spaces on campus. With some recent upgrades, it was an ideal setting for alumni and friends of the College of ACES to gather for this year’s pre-game celebration.

URBANA, Ill. - Join the nation's foremost experts in human nutrition, obesity research, and child and family health at the Food and Family Conference 2019 on Sept. 26, at the University Club of Chicago.

The conference is hosted by the Family Resiliency Center at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in partnership with the Christopher Family Foundation.

URBANA, Ill. - The University of Illinois College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences invites the public to attend the 2019 Celebrate Food & Agriculture Day on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 8 to 11 a.m. This year’s event will be held in a new location at the renovated Stock Pavilion.

“We’re excited to welcome Illinois supporters in the food, agriculture, and allied industries to campus to celebrate with us prior to cheering on the Fighting Illini football team against Eastern Michigan,” says Kim Kidwell, dean of the College of ACES.

Be sure to visit the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences tent, 34W, at Farm Progress Show 2019 in Decatur, Aug. 27-29.

The College of ACES tent, located south of the main entrance on West Progress Avenue, will feature several new exhibits from over 15 units and University of Illinois Extension at this year’s show.
