High school visit activities

The Office of Diversity Programs focuses on visits to high schools and community colleges in urban areas and those with large underserved populations throughout the state of Illinois, including the St. Louis area. The goal is to provide information about the educational programs and career pathways offered through the College of ACES.

The coordinator for the Urban Agricultural Education Inititiative in Chicago provides leadership for recruitment and outreach to the public and private schools in the City of Chicago and south suburbs, as well as to the seven Chicago City Colleges and community agencies.

ACES visit days

The College of ACES provides opportunities for individuals and groups interested in visiting campus, either through a brief visit through the Office of Diversity Programs or a day-long visit of informative activities arranged through the Office of Admissions Visit Programs, which would include a stop in the College of ACES to meet with students and faculty to learn more about your prospective major of interest. Such programs are offered on a daily basis.
