The College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign has launched a brand-new ACES Online website, designed to make education from the College of ACES more accessible to learners around the world.

ACES Online offers flexible and engaging programs, including certificates, courses, and degrees, that allow individuals to enhance their skills and advance their careers, regardless of their location. The launch of this new platform marks a significant step forward in delivering high-quality education to a broader audience.

“Our goal with ACES Online is to remove barriers to education and extend the reach of our world-class programs to a global audience,” said ACES Dean Germán Bollero. “This initiative aligns perfectly with our land-grant mission, allowing us to empower more individuals to achieve their professional goals and contribute to a more sustainable and prosperous future.”

ACES Assistant Dean for Learning Innovation Debra Korte added, “Our programs are online by design, meaning they are purposefully crafted to fit into the lives of busy professionals. With ACES Online, we aim to provide a learning experience that’s not only academically rigorous but also accessible and flexible for learners juggling work, family, and other responsibilities.”

In addition to the new website, ACES recently introduced five new online graduate certificates in sustainable food production economics, alternative investments, wetland conservation, human nutrition and policy, and dairy nutrition. These new offerings underscore the college’s commitment to equipping learners with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in dynamic and evolving fields.

The ACES Online website is now live and open for prospective learners to explore programs and opportunities. To find out more, visit acesonline.illinois.edu.
